Fluoroscopy delivers dose continuously over a much longer time than a single radiographic exposure, which is exactly why it has its own dedicated set of dose-reduction tools. And two patient-side decisions — how tightly the field is collimated, and how a possible pregnancy is handled — carry more dose consequence than almost any technique factor.
