Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your StudyBucky account and its data at any time, from the website or the app. This page explains what deletion does, and you don’t need to install the app to read it.

How to delete your account

  • Sign in at studybucky.com/dashboard.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  • Choose Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm.

The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. If you can’t sign in to your account, email support@studybucky.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and profile.
  • Your study history: practice and mock-exam answers, scores, progress, streaks, and readiness data.
  • Your saved flashcards.
  • Your Ask Bucky AI conversation history.

If you have an active subscription or free trial, deleting your account also cancels it immediately, so you will not be charged again. You’ll be signed out on every device.

What is retained

  • Financial records. Stripe keeps your billing and payment history (invoices, refunds, and disputes) for legal and tax purposes. Past charges are not refunded automatically as part of deletion; email support if you believe you’re owed a refund.
  • Anonymized question reports. If you ever reported a problem with a question, the report itself stays. It’s about the question, not about you, but your account and contact information are removed from it.
  • Tutoring business records. If you separately booked 1-on-1 tutoring, those session and billing records are a distinct paid-service relationship kept for business and financial purposes; deleting your StudyBucky login de-links it from that account but does not erase the tutoring records themselves.
  • Backups. Deleted data may persist in backup copies until they cycle out under our standard backup schedule.
